The city's rate sheet for July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 lists residential service at $19.10 a month ('Weekly automated solid waste and recycling, every other week bulky'), an optional second weekly trash pickup at $17.28 a month, and rural service area service at $19.42 a month with weekly trash and every-other-week recycling. Under the franchise, the curbside cart program covers single-family homes, duplexes, and multi-unit and mobile home properties with individual curbside service. Apartments and other multiple dwellings on commercial (bin) service, and commercial accounts, are served by Republic under commercial service instead. Unincorporated Clark County, Henderson and North Las Vegas are separate jurisdictions.

Recycling: varies. Weekly for standard city residential service, under the franchise agreement and the 2025-26 rate sheet. Every other week in the rural service area, under the same rate sheet. Single-stream carts rolled out in 2017-2018.

Neither the city nor Republic (its Southern Nevada pages and 2026 bulk calendars) gives a set-out or take-in time. The franchise agreement says residential collection won't begin before 6 a.m., with earlier starts allowed June 1 to September 30 because of heat.

The franchise agreement lists New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas only as customer-service phone holidays, not as collection rules. No dates to list yet. Check Las Vegas’s page before each holiday week.
